All Chevrolet Avalanche models are equipped with a 5.3-liter V8 and a four-speed automatic transmission. Styles with 2 wheel drive are equipped a 320 horsepower engine and 340 pound-feet of torque. Four-wheel-drive Avalanches have a V8 310 hp engine and 335 lb-ft of torque.
