Chevy Tahoe

The Chevrolet Tahoe is a traditional full size SUV. This SUV is available in four trims; base, midsize and upscale. The base model comes with 17-inch wheels, a 40/20/40-split bench front seat with built-in storage compartments.

The options that come standard are; OnStar telematics, Bluetooth connectivity, satellite radio, full power accessories, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, dual-zone climate control, an MP3-capable CD player with an auxiliary audio input, a 50/50-split bench third-row seat and a trip computer. There are additional packages such as fog lamps, front bucket seats and navigation system. The LT2 trim adds a six-disc CD changer, remote vehicle start. The last trim level is 20 inch wheels and heated second row.

There are two transmission offered. The two-wheel drive, and four wheel drive. Two- wheel drive comes standard with a 4.8 liter V8 with a 295 horsepower and 305 lb torque. Optional 5.3-lier V8 for 320 horsepower is optional.

All other Tahoe’s come standard with 5.3-liter V8 a 6.2-liter V8 that boasts 395 hp 417 lb torque optional with top level trim. The 4.8 liter V8 comes with the four-speed transmission that can be matched with either transmission.

EPA fuel economy estimates a 14 mpg city/20 mpg highway. Four wheel drive models come with a 5.3-liter V8 are able to get from zero to 60 mph in an impressive 8.6 seconds.
